Delegates at the Schrodinger Material Science Simulation Workshop held at PSGCP on 1st and 2nd March 2019
The Dept of Pharmaceutics, PSGCP, organized a two days Workshop on Hands on Training on Material Science Suite Simulation technology in Pharmaceutical Formulation Development on 1st and 2nd March 2019. The aim of the workshop was to provide a platform for all faculty, research scientists, and research scholars to understand how knowledge of computer simulations provides insight into molecular-level behaviour and interactions between drugs and excipients. The first day of the workshop started with a welcome address by Dr.V.Sankar, Professor & Head, Dept of Pharmaceutics, PSGCP. The opening ceremony was presided by Dr M. Ramanathan, Principal, PSGCP, who introduced the theme of the workshop to the delegates. Throughout the course of the two days workshop, participants had an opportunity to get theoretical lectures and hands on session/training in maestro Material Science software from Schrodinger experts. The valedictory function was presided by Dr. M. Ramanathan. Certificates were issued to the participants and feedback was collected. Mr S.Karthikeyan, Assistant Professor, PSGCP, concluded the session with vote of thanks.
